COACHING PACKAGES
How do we unlock this type of development?
Clients usually work with us in one of three ways.
Single Session
Communication Brush-up

Hover over below for details
In this hour-long session, participants set a baseline by completing a role-play of a hypothetical communication situation, which we record with the participant’s smart device and then review together. Building off the video footage, the GK coach takes the participant through a series of drills like this one and adjustments to change unhelpful habits and reinforce good ones. We’ll then ask the participant to role-play the same hypothetical situation again, this time using the skills they’ve developed through the session.
Package Details
• One hour-long session
• Baseline video recording
• Access to specific GK kinesthetic drills
• Summary email w/ practice plan suggestions

For some of our clients, coaching might continue for a period of years. For these communicators, coaching sessions may be as few and far between as one session every quarter or six months. These are often professionals at the top of their field who know that no matter how good you are you can always improve. These are Deans of Ivy League institutions, managing partners of global law firms, heads of global charities, and founders of the most active venture funds in the world; but it is useful for anyone.

Dear Michael:
Please see the press release below. You were instrumental in me making partner and I’m deeply grateful to you and your team for your help.
The one thing that was keeping me from this promotion was a (perceived or real) need to improve my oral advocacy skills. And what got me over that was my performance at the two hearings I had in October and December of last year, on which we worked together. In fact, the day after I returned from the December hearing, the two senior partners that had been critical of my oral advocacy skills called me to tell me that I should get promoted to partner this year. I could not have excelled at those hearings without you and your team, and the work that we did together. And without excelling at those hearings I wouldn’t have been promoted. So I’m not exaggerating one bit when I say that you were instrumental. Thank you so much!!
Take care and happy holidays!

Dear Hilary –
I wanted to write you last week, but somehow every time something came up…
I would like to thank you again for the great sessions!
They really meant a lot to me. You really understood me very well as a person and therefore, I could actually incorporate everything you taught me.
And then, the sessions were just so enjoyable!
I am very grateful for everything you showed me and taught me!
I hope I can stay in touch with you from time to time.
Warm regards

Hi Ben,
I wanted to thank you for your time at the end of April to help me prep for my pitch. I felt empowered after we had spoken and had gained some helpful feedback. It was interesting to see how many people may not have taken advantage of your service. Regardless, the pitch went well and I will be mindful of the strategies moving forward.
I had even shared information regarding our meeting with my management team as I believe it would benefit many others as well.
Thank you and be well!

Hello Shawn,
I wanted to extend my thanks and appreciation for this week’s workshop – so many people have mentioned how helpful, and practical, they found the training. I particularly appreciated how you brought our ‘lost in space’ theme to life.
Thank you for all your work organizing this presentation. You can trust that we’ll be reaching out for future sessions!

Hello Shawn, Dana,
We recently completed a survey about our virtual meeting – of our 3 skills workshops, yours was the most highly rated and folks expressed strong interest in continuing the program. (I shared a snapshot of the data below.)
I’d love to set up a time to talk about how we can continue our training next year.
Please let me know a good time to connect next week, preferably afternoons?
Thanks and have a great weekend

Michael - had to tell you about your techniques in action last week in Lisbon at an arbitration conference where a session chair was to have given a 15-minute talk on arbitrator disclosure after which other panelists and I were to comment. The session chair went off the rails, and speaking one word at a time and not making sense for 40 minutes. The audience was literally rebelling, murmuring, or sleeping. And when finally, someone got him to stop, I had to get the audience back with us. I started with an enthusiastic hello and two questions - getting people to raise their hands - 1) how many of you know exactly what arbitrators need to disclose? (No hands) 2) how many of you think we need more guidance for arbitrator disclosure? (Almost all hands). It wasn't planned, but as you taught me, with that, everyone was with me. I then gave them five behind the scenes perspectives of how the ICC Court handles disclosure issues and another bunch of questions for the audience to think about given that we are looking at what comes next. So basic. But so many people were amazed at how that worked. And then the audience was with the rest of the panelists.
Hello from Tokyo! Next stop - Seoul.
