Eye Contact

Why do humans make eye contact? It’s a two-way street: The speaker gets real-time non-verbal feedback from the audience, and the audience gets confirmation they are in fact being spoken to. This cycle is unbroken when you’re face-to-face, and cycles between looking at the camera lens and looking at video boxes (if people have their cameras on!) when remote.

Whatever the medium, the good news is that eye contact, like any other communication skill, can be improved and utilized better.

This month we’re sharing a variety of videos that will help you make the most out of this ancient—and essential—communication tool.

We have a channel.
