Now that the year is halfway over (more or less), we’d like to offer you a chance to go deeper with whatever tools and skills have been the most useful for you so far. There’s only one way to do that: practice consistently and effectively. In order to help you with that this month features two resources, one solo practice tool and then some real-time human interaction.
The first option is our practice app, Question Roulette. This free smartphone app prompts you with a question, records and transcribes your answer, and provides immediate metrics: time speaking, filler language frequency, filler words used, and words per second. Whatever you’ve been working on over the last few months—conciseness, linguistic precision, clarity—the app can give you concrete feedback on how you’re doing.
