Each of us speaks up to ten thousand times a day. It's an everyday miracle, and an astonishing kind of magic: turning breath into sound, sound into words, and words into ideas that can change a life or a community.

Spoken communication is not window dressing. It's not a soft skill. It's one of the most defining parts of being human, and the people doing the most important work in the world deserve the same access to it as anyone else.
